Married Maria Kotsoglou in Port Pirie, SA in 1929 then moved to Perth in 1934 with family (2 girls & 1 boy). Joined Army WWII. Served with 5th Garrison Battalion, Rottnest Island. Had total of 9 children (3 girls & 6 boys). Pioneered establishment of one of the first food supermarkets known as Andrew's Supermarket, Canning Highway, South Perth. As at 2007 there are five generations of family in Perth.

  • Andrew Emanuel Petrelis assisted on the family farm. Immediately prior to migrating to Australia served in the Greek Army 1918 - 1922. He saw service in the Greco-Turkish war 1920-1922.
