William Standen Peters (Bill) arrived with his mother Pat from England in 1952 as an 8 month old child. They joined his father Jack on an uncleared block of land NW of Mount Barker that became the farm "Petersfield". He married Julia and they raised 2 children, Lucinda and Jonathan.
