Arrived Fremantle. Spent short time in Perth before being sent to the Shannon Forest to log timber for two years. I lived in a small log cabin with fellow immigrants from similar background. Married Evelyn Farina in 1955 and lived in Mount Hawthorn where we owned a fruit and deli shop.
