I am the Daughter of Jacobus Marius (Jack) - Julie Pellicaan.
Moving to the farm in Watheroo, all family worked except for Johannes (John)- school age. The boat too 3 weeks to arrive in Fremantle - they were only allowed one suitcase each, of which I am donating to Bunbury Musuem. The family spoke no English, had to learn quite quickly. From there they moved to Kojonup.
