Arrived Australia 1939 as Bortolo's bride, having married by proxy, and went to Kalannie. Mother to Paul and Mary. Retired to Kewdale 1956 on 5 acres, now part of Tomato Lake Reserve. Both visited Italy 1966, Maria again in 1980 with Mary and grand daughter Tamara.
