Worked as a Farrier at Woodmens Point Naval Dockyard. Moved to Palmyra in 1914 to Weld St where they lived with their two boys Alf & Harry. Harry became a Councillor for the District. Polly bought a Singer sewing machine at North Fremantle & wheeled it to Palmyra by pushing it.
