Giuseppe was known as Joe. He worked on clearing land at Bindi Bindi, Waddi Forest & Namban, before farming at Namban. Joe was naturalised in Moora, August 1949. Married Elena Della-Vedova in Moora, Feb 1938. Seven children: John, Brian, Richard, Rosa, Josephine, Olive & June.
