Franca was 15 years old when she arrived in Fremantle. She was school age, but joined the workforce immediately - dress making in a factory. She married Pietro Principe on 20 July 1957. They have three daughters, Teresa, Rosaria & Tina. (Franca & Peter did know each other in Italy).
