George left England under the Fairbridge Farm School Child Migration Scheme. No other family members came. Returned to UK on 4 separate occasions to visit family. Settled permanently in WA, leading a successful, productive life with wife Pamela and 4 children Colette, Wayne, Donelle and Arron.
