Carmela arrived in Australia with her mother, father, brother & sister. They settled in Roleystone. In 1968 Carmela married Bruno Sorgoivanni. They lived in Armadale for 35 years & had 4 children - Stella, Angelarosa, Salvatore & Rosario. She helped her husband with the family business & raised their 4 children.
