Apostolos arrived alone & worked hard to send money back to the island to help support his family. By 1916 he was able to bring his brother, Michael to Perth & in 1922 they brought their parents, brothers & sisters to join them in Leederville. A generous, wise, scholarly man, he was also a successful businessman. The shipping records state "Master A Panigiris, Greek Child".
