Joe arrived in Australia with his mum and 5 of his 9 brothers and sisters. After attending St Brigid's school in Perth became a cabinet maker. In 1959 he married Carmelina Maiolo and they had 4 children. Joe's passions in life were his children and the West Perth Football Club.
