Read their story

George served in East Africa during WWI. For health reasons he migrated to Perth, arriving July 1920 aboard the Orontes, with Lily & daughter. He worked as an Insurance clerk, then bought a newsagency in Donnybrook. He was later appointed CEO of Preston Road Board. He moved to Perth in his forties & was appointed Secretary Cottesloe Golf Club until retirement.
