Read their story

Antonio Pagotto arrived in 1927 followed by his wife Maria & son Livio (Lee) seven years later. In 1936 the family settled in Lesmurdie & in later years, Kalamunda. They gave much help to Italian migrants who arrived in the 1950's & 1960's.

  • Maria was a lovely neighbour to my mother Joy Knight who lived in a tiny house nearby and had just had her first baby .. me in 1947/48
