September 1944, escaped Estonia. Considered "Enemy of the State" by Communist regime. To be shot. Worked for UN and as University lecturer in Germany. Parents deported to Siberia, other family did not escape. Was circuit Judge and Govt. Legal adviser on Criminal Law. Professor of Law, Philosophy & Economics. Wife was a dressmaker. Lived in Belmont, W.A. 1951-1978.
