The Owen family were among the Welsh Patagonians who migrated to WA in 1910. They established 'Gwalia' Farm in the 'Welsh Settlement' near Moora. This was not an easy task, as when they arrived, the land was undeveloped & heavily timbered. They had to do all the work themselves.
