In1970 I met John our when he picked me up hitchhiking from cairns heading south in a white Volvo 1800 sports car.
We travelled together down to Gladstone where we both got jobs at the alumina construction site.
We worked there for about 2 months and then I lost contact.
He was a lovely young man and I often wonder what happened to him

It was most likely this Leo Oud that I worked with in Dampier in 1971. We caught up again in the early 1980s in Perth then later in Melbourne. I've lost contact since then.
