Violet (Cookie) Osborne and her four daughters migrated from India to England in 1946. A relationship developed with Patrick Torpy and a fifth daughter was born 1948. In 1951 due to ill health, Cookie and her five daughters migrated to WA. Cookie married Patrick. Another daughter was born.
