Arrived with Bishop Salvado. Carpenter and cabinetmaker, literate, he left New Norcia in January, 1857. Married Mary Lahey June 1861 and bought house and workshop in Goderich Street. In 1890s built Bon Marche stores on the site. Children Daniel (1864-1936) and Mary Margaret (1873-1962).
