RG Ogg was a Highland Guard at Stirling Castle, Scotland. He served at Gallipoli, was wounded then sent to Ulster. Married, took family & migrated to Fremantle. Stayed briefly at Woolstores & then Northcliffe as a Group Settler No. 120. Very tough conditions, land clearing for 8 years. Then Harbour Trust policeman until retirement. Raised 9 children, 5 surviving today. A very strong independent family.
