Ivan and Marta arrived in Australia in August 1949 on the Anna Salen, with their 3 sons, Anatoll (Tony), Viktor (Vic) & Leonid (Len). They left Dubno, Ukraine in 1943, escaping into Germany during 2nd World War, then in 1949 went to Italy to board a ship to Australia, their chosen country.
