Margaret Oats (nee Murray) and daughter Mary (b. Scotland 01/02/1858) came to WA as "government passengers" to join William Oats who had received his Ticket of Leave just 6 months after arrival in 1858. Margaret had 8 more children and died in Perth 1886. Mary married George Levi and died in South Australia.
