Antonio's migration to Australia was sponsored by a relative, Donato Notte who was living in Perth. On arrival, Antonio obtained work in Boya at a quarry. Two years later he purchased a vineyard in Middle Swan before sending for his wife, Angela & daughters, Giuseppina & Rosa to join him.
