Read their story

On arrival in Fremantle Robert & Annie Niven travelled by train to Carnamah to a farm they had purchased before leaving Scotland. The Niven family were a pioneering & early settler family in Carnamah. They raised 14 children & became prosperous wheat & sheep farmers. The town today recognises the family in it's naming of "Niven Park", the local recreation & sporting complex.
