My father was 22, had just finished his Fitter & Turner Apprenticeship when he left for Australia. Worked on a farm in Bruce Rock. He then went to the goldfields and worked on the mines as a Fitter & Turner. Also in spare time owned and worked his own mine. Wife Minerva 22/05/1915 - 02/11/1976 came from Gramolazzo, Italy, in 1936 on the Romolo.
