We arrived, not speaking English, with enough funds for a deposit on a small house. Both children (then 3 and 4 years old) have a tertiary education. Their father has his own business. I renewed my Registered Nursing qualification, did a midwifery course as well as a BA in Social Anthropology (UWA 1995).
