  • Herbert, known as Bert, was married for 70 years to wife Gwladys. His son was named Michael after his brother. He was active in building WA especially through Rotary and organized the first blood drive in this state. It was commemorated by a hand drawn certificate from the community awarding the nickname "Bloody Bert". Bert lived to 101 years, well loved and respected and much missed.
