Could not settle in Holland after 3 years in Indonesia (army). The 2 brothers migrated to WA & worked for Main Roads. in Northam & re-locating to Dept. of Works, Perth. Later Soils Laboratory as Technical Officer with Comm. Dept Housing & Construction. Married for 47 years and had 4 children, 9 grandchildren and wife still lives in family home. Returned to visit Dutch family 6 times in 52 years. Loved family man, sadly missed. Loved Australia.
