Arriving in Fremantle, no ruins and bomb craters. People of many languages helping one another. I knew I liked this life. I married 18 months later, we brought up 2 children, and have 5 Grand-children. For the last 30 yrs, I worked with community organisations including St. John Ambulance and still enjoy life.
