Read their story
Severo, his wife Catherine (Gelmi) and 2 children were the first family to come by ship from Malonno in Northern Italy to Australia after WWII. He worked in the quarries cutting and loading limestone by hand. Later he bought his own truck and then carted the limestone for house foundations.

Severo is my great grand father.

Rina passed away 14th February, 2016. I was there at her funeral. She was my great grandmother.
