  • Alfred and Dorothy along with their three boys were sponsored by Alf's older sister, May Lillian Peay (nee Moore) and her husband Harold Grahame Peay. They had arrived in Fremantle in 1950. Harold set up the bus conductor job at Metro Buses (Fremantle)where Harold was a diesel fitter. Two more brothers Tom and Bill along with their families emigrated later as did Amelia the mother of May (Maisie),Alf, Tom and Bill.
