Caterina travelled with her sister Lina to join her brother Antonio who had already settled here. She met Carlo Bonini (another Italian immigrant) whom she married in 1957 and had two children with (Mark b. 1959 and Rosanne b. 1962). Caterina was widowed in 1987.
