Zinaida, wife of civil-engineer Pavel who perished in the Siberian Gulags in 1939, was separated from her son in Russia and imprisoned with her daughter in Labour-Camps by the invading German forces in 1942-45 before immigrating to Australia with her daughter, grandson and son-in-law in 1949.
