Lew & Win had three children, Barbara, Jim & Ralph (all aged six & under). There were twenty families in galvanised iron sheds. The women & children remained in Denmark while the men & teenage boys cleared land out at the campsite at Styx River. Lew & Win subsequently moved to other group settlements (Peel Estate, Baldivis) & in 1928 to Group 74 at Gnarabup (Forrest Grove).

  • These are my Grandparents, They had had 3 More Children, Monica, Richard(Dick) and Cyril, they later walked off the farm in Forrest grove,(group 74) Due to the depression and low prices for dairy products, it wasn't viable to keep the farm going.
