On arrival in WA dad was employed by Mr W N Hedges on the Kurrawong Woodline, 12kms from Kalgoorlie. He worked there from 1927-1931. Dad then met Dante Cova from Narembeen who offered him work & on Christmas Day 1932, he arrived by train & began his 67 years in the Narembeen district.
