  • My relationship to Mate - he was my father's uncle and my great uncle. My father was Joseph Miocevich and my mother's name was Lucy (nee Peric) who all lived in the Swan Valley. I was born in 1947 and my sister Sandra in 1948. Our father died when I was 16 and my mother sold the vineyard property my father had developed and moved to the suburbs and lost most contact with the Croatian community but occasionally saw Mate and Zorka who had no children of their own and who were very close to and kind to us as children. Zorka's younger sister Milly Katich is still living in the Swan Valley. I am not sure this info is relevant for your site but I came across it while searching for anything about my family background. I have searched on your site for info about Joseph Miocevich and his father (dad and grandad) and Mick (Mijo) Peric who came to Western Australia from New Zealand I think in
the late 1920's/early 1930's. Are you able to (or how can I) get this information? Thanks.
