From 1925 to 1931 Ljubo sent a total of ₤305.00 ($610.00) (Basic Wage ₤3.00/week) to his family in Jugoslavia to support them. He also sponsored and paid fares for his brothers Ante (April 1927) and Dane (13/1/27) Regina D' Italia, Manda Luetich, future wife (Oriana 28/2/1932) and Ursa Luetich (1940) sister to Manda, to come to Australia.
