Was evacuated during WW2. Loved to go and watch Alex Henshaw - test pilot for Spitfires. Came to Australia as £10 POM. Came via Fremantle then on to Melbourne. Started work at McPherson's in Richmond - May 1951 & retired July 1988. Married Australian girl, HAD 4 CHILDREN and 4 grandchildren. Was always family oriented and always kept in touch with his family in England.
