Read their story

After working for the Water Supply Dept. for four years, in Narrogin, Albany & Collie the family settled permanently in Collie, finding work with the WA Government Railways. Three more members were added to the family in Collie. In 1954 the family became Australian citizens.
Sixteen years later, the family purchased a home in Perth and moved. Family members are now spread across Australia and currently include nine (9) grandchildren.
It was thirty seven years before any family members returned to Czechoslovakia to be reunited with family and friends. Sadly, it was too late to see either set of parents again.
The move to Australia has been very happy and this is now well and truly home.
