Married Richard Luke Briggs 16/10/1919. Gave birth to 2 sons & 1 daughter. Middle son, Alfred born 1923 was the first white child born in Scarborough. Daughter Margaret Eva born 1933 was the first child Christened in Scarborough. Until her death in 1977, my grandmother was the longest living resident in Scarborough.
