Born in Scarborough, UK Frederick served in the Boer War & later worked for Central Railways in South Africa. He migrated to WA in 1904. He married Alice McLennan in 1906 & fathered seven children. He fought in WW1 & was killed in Belgium. Honoured with fallen soldiers at Kings park War Memorial and May Drive honour avenue.
