Domenico came from Italy by himself and was part of early migrants who cleared land in Williams, Narrogin area. His wife Maria and two sons arrived 10 years later. A daughter was born in Narrogin. Domenico helped his two sons establish a business called Melchiorre Seeds (seed merchants) which is still operating to this day.
