Drove overland from England with Bud Meenan, Frank Cullen and Tom Maughan. Abandoned Bedford van at the Indian border and travelled through Asia by train. Declared ourselves as migrants in Fremantle after taking the Eastern Princess ship from Singapore. Arrived with five pounds each and a rucksack.
