Sydney's economy was depressed & Lilian's brother, surveyor George Marshall Nunn advised coming to WA where there were opportunities. Two more sons were born in WA & the family prospered. My father Ferdinand George became a surveyor & served with distinction at Gallipoli and in France in the Great War.
