Father (Andrew Tait) came to Albany 24th December 1911. Mother, Christina and sister, Margaret came to Fremantle with Andrew on 5th August 1913. Went to school in Victoria Park. Became a carpenter. Father & Andrew took land up in Hyden, WA in 1927. Married Audrey Johnston, had two sons, one daughter. Farmed in Hyden until 1979. left Hyden 1984 and went to Perth.
