Originally from Kilmarnock, Scotland, Thomas and Elsie moved to Canada. However they later moved to Western Australia to start a new life with Elsie's two sisters. A job offer resulted in them returning to Canada in 1968. After Tom passed away, Elsie emmigrated to Perth in 1997 where she currently lives.
