Stuart, Norah, Stuart (5 yrs) & Margaret McKeown (20 months) emigrated. No regrets at all. We had little money but both sought & found work immediately. We rented an old house, then built our own a few years later. Became Australian citizen. Son Stuart served in Vietnam. Also had 2 more children, Karen & Michael. All dinky di children of their own. My husband was Royal Marine for 14 years 1932-1946.
