My father John served in France aged 22. His regiment was the 8th Argyll & Southern Highlands. He won honour in France for bravery in the field. He organized the first Scottish migration to Australia. From Argyllshire, John & Janet had seven children, two born in Scotland, four born in Northcliffe, WA & one born in Perth, WA. The children's names were - John, Helen, Donald, Duncan, James, Margaret & Catherine.
