Thomas McCreery arrived as a Pensioner Guard in charge of convicts. He married Catherine Adams in Scotland. They had 6 children and he died in Northam in 1908. Catherine died in Fremantle on 9 or 19/05/1865. He joined the British Army aged 17 yrs and served in India before coming to Australia.
