Paid own fare. Came with Joseph Foreman Goodson - initially to start poultry farm - who bought 10 acres of land in Yale Road Canningvale. Physically, jointly built house in first 6 months for his wife Edith and my sister Ellen Dorinea who followed us out when house habitable. Joined WA Fire Brigade, became Chief Officer 1983.
